"I grew up on the East Coast and have been living in Calgary since 2017, when my partner was recruited for a job here. Over the years, I’ve worked in healthcare, academia, the private sector, and in government at both the provincial and municipal levels. My background is in economics, and I’ve always been driven by a desire to help others, especially those who need support the most.
I’m a dad to a son and a daughter. When my daughter was three years old, she was asked to describe me and said that I’m “a penguin and definitely not a big bad wolf,” which I take as a compliment. I try to be steady, kind, and dependable in both my personal, volunteer, and professional life. I’m always looking for ways to make a positive difference."
